The center was founded in 1978 by a group of dedicated volunteers who were committed to ending domestic violence in our community. Since its inception, the Merryman House has grown to a comprehensive advocacy program offering both residency and outreach services to meet the needs of victims of intimate partner abuse and their dependents as they strive to live free of violence in their home.

The Jam Session
The Jam Session is a show that features local musicians and rising talent and invites them into our studio for a special half-hour performance. Each month, a new band or artist will be featured from the Paducah or surrounding areas.

WKCTC Middle College Celebration
WKCTC President Dr. Barbara Veazey hosts VIP's from the school systems of Marshall County and McCracken County as well as the chairman of the Paducah Junior College Foundation and the Executive Director of the Lay Foundation as they announce the creation of the Middle College. This program is the first of its kind in Kentucky and will target students at Marshall and McCracken County High Schools.
