Hunger Relief Programs - March 21, 2013
Paducah Cooperative Ministry and its parters are constantly working on the growing hunger problem in the Paducah area and you can help combat the problem. "Sometimes people are a little bit surprised to find out that we have hunger issues in Western Kentucky." said Heidi Suhrheinrich, PCM Executive Director.

West Kentucky Green Valley District Minister's Wives Auxiliary - October 18, 2012
As a pastor's wife there are many particular joys and challenges presented. Janet Flagg is the wife of the Reverend Joe Flagg, Pastor of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Janet has founded the West Kentucky Green Valley District Minister's Wives Auxiliary to address issues and to meet the particular needs of these women in worship. They share in their common experiences to help to encourage and inspire others in the group.

First Day Out - July 19, 2012
Anna Shelton, PCM's newest employee is currently developing a mentoring program, First Day Out, for women coming out of incarceration. Anna grew up as a child of a missionary in Kenya. She has also recently returned from a mission trip to Slovakia. (View Show)
Fresh Start - April 18, 2012
Paducah Cooperative Ministry is currently in the process of building a new transformational residential facility to house women who have recently been incarcerated. The goal is to prevent recidivism through teaching people to think differently. Americorps Serving Midtown Alliance of Neighbors - December 8, 2011
AmeriCorps is helping make a difference across the country through many efforts. Gregory Waldrop and Heidi Suhrheinrich interview Virginia Siegel and Melissa Wortman, AmeriCorps members serving the Midtown Alliance of Neighbors. Paducah has many memorable homes that are around one-hundred years old or older. Many of these homes are inhabited by citizens in a low income bracket who desperately need help saving these old homes. AmeriCorps is helping do just that. (View Show)

Reading Camp - July, 2010
When school is out for the summer, a lot of kids are getting as far away from books as they possibly can. Reading Camp is a program designed to help children expand their reading abilities and improve vital skills needed to be successful students. Reading Camp is completely volunteer driven and a mission of the local Presbyterian and Episcopal churches. Grace Episcopal Church is responsible for it's creation.
