The Veteran Voice


Vietnam veteran, Michael Swinford is the new host of The Veteran Voice. This series is designed to inform and educate our country's veterans about different veteran organizations and events. However, Michael strives to constantly honor our service men and women. "We have no greater destination than the continued service and support to those Americans who have served their country and to those who still do."

Veterans Panel - November 11, 2009
This program is a panel discussion with veterans from WWII to Iraqi Freedom. The veterans talk about the wars in which they served and related stories about their times in the military.

LST 325 - August, 2009
Michael takes a trip to Evansville, Indiana to tour the (Landing Ship Tank) LST 325. The memorial ship played an important role in the battles on the beaches of Normandy and Omaha and is now the only remaining WWII landing ship tank that is still fully operational. “This valiant ship stood tall against the tyranny and dictators of this world and she ultimately sailed into victory,” said Swinford. “On behalf of all freedom loving people around the globe, thank you LST-325 for your service.” Find out more about LST 325 at www.lstmemorial.org.
